Terms of Service

Please read these terms before using GROUNDED. By using the app you agree to them.

What GROUNDED is

GROUNDED is a financial wellness companion. It offers reflective check-ins, breathing and grounding exercises, and conversational AI responses about money anxiety. GROUNDED is not a financial advisor, accountant, therapist, or medical professional, and nothing in the app is investment, tax, legal, or medical advice. For decisions that affect your money or health, please consult a qualified professional.

Subscription terms

GROUNDED Pro is a recurring monthly subscription billed at the price shown on the upgrade screen. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the same price each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple according to App Store policy. GROUNDED cannot directly issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.

Acceptable use

Please use GROUNDED in good faith. Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the AI proxy. Do not use the app to harm yourself or others. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

GROUNDED is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about specific financial or emotional outcomes from using the app. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Significant changes will be reflected in the app and on the support page.
